How to join two part of crochet work

There are several way to join sts in crochet

Here is one way of joining sts in crochet

For example, I use a simple pattern as shown in following picture which is consist of the scheme patterns and outcomes after joined

STEP BY STEP

•  First crochet the green part follow the pattern. Then crochet the pink part follow the pattern up to the stage before the joining sts. See figure No. 1

•  Remove the hook from lp (see Figure 2), then insert the hook into st to be joined, in this example is st in the green part (as stated in the pattern), further insert the hook into the pink lp (see figure 3), and pull out the pink lp through st of green part that will joined (see figure 4). One st is already joined.

•  * Sc 1 in next st of pink part (see figure 5), remove the needle from lp (see figure 6).

• Insert hook into st to be joined, which is the next st on  green part (as stated on the pattern), further insert the hook into the pink lp (see figure 7 & 8), pull out the pink lp through st of green part that will joined (see figure 9) *. Another st is already joined.. For the stage in figure 10, 11 and 12, please repeats  * up * for amount of sts  that needs to be joined (as stated in the pattern). In this example, there are 6 sts should be joined.
